Title: Tier 1 Technical Support Specialist
Location: Houston, TX – Hybrid
Duration: Long-term contract

We’re hiring a proactive, hands-on Technical Support Specialist to join our client's enterprise IT support team in West Houston. This is more than just a help desk role—it's a key position where you'll be solving real problems for users across multiple systems and environments. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Be the first point of contact for IT support (phone, email, ticketing system)
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system issues
- Support users across different ERP, CRM, and enterprise platforms
- Recognize ticket patterns and escalate only when needed
- Log all support activity accurately in the ticketing system
- Provide excellent service and build trust with end-users
- Onboard new users (hardware setup, software installs, etc.)
- Help build out internal documentation and knowledge articles
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of IT help desk or technical support experience
- Ability to resolve most Tier 1 issues independently
- Strong troubleshooting across Windows OS, printers, VPN, email, etc.
- Experience supporting environments with multiple system versions (due to M&A/MSP work, etc)
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms like ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, and networking
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to prioritize in a busy support environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ERP or enterprise applications
- Exposure to high-growth or M&A environments
- IT certifications like CompTIA A+ or ITIL
