Summary:

Our client is building a new kind of frac company in Argentina and is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join the executive leadership team. This is not just another role—it’s an opportunity to step into a career-defining leadership position with equity partnership in a fast-growing oilfield services startup backed by a seasoned leadership team.

The VP of Operations will oversee field execution and drive operational excellence while shaping the long-term strategy of the company. You’ll be empowered to build and scale teams, influence investment decisions, and play a direct role in establishing the company as a market leader one of the 3 locations Canada, Argentina or US.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations for frac/drilling sites across your region, including production, logistics, and maintenance.
• Lead workforce planning, hiring, and training of local and expat teams.
• Drive operational efficiency through KPIs, safety protocols, and process improvements.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and capital deployment for operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership in frac, completions, drilling, or oilfield operations
• Proven success leading large-scale operations and multi-site teams
• Strong financial and strategic acumen with full P&L oversight
• Resilient, entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable building in an unstructured environment
