Summary

We are seeking an HR Technology Specialist (Junior HRIS Analyst) to support the HR Technology team responsible for maintaining and optimizing Academy’s HR systems. This role is designed as an entry point into HR Technology, providing hands-on exposure to enterprise HR platforms such as Workday. The individual will support system troubleshooting, assist with configuration updates, participate in system testing, and help maintain HR data integrity. The role works closely with experienced HRIS analysts and partners across HR operations including benefits, payroll, and recruiting. This position is ideal for someone early in their HRIS career who wants to develop deeper expertise in HR technology and enterprise HR platforms.


Responsibilities

Provide functional support for HR systems and troubleshoot HRIS-related inquiries

Assist with system maintenance including data corrections, workflow troubleshooting, and configuration updates

Support HR Technology team members with system enhancements and change requests

Participate in system testing activities including regression, sandbox, and end-to-end testing

Maintain documentation for HR system processes and workflows

Collaborate with HR partners across payroll, benefits, and HR operations to support system needs

Help ensure data integrity and accuracy across HR platforms

Assist senior analysts with configuration tasks and platform updates


Qualifications

2+ years of experience supporting HR systems, HRIS platforms, or enterprise business systems

Experience working with HCM modules in platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or UKG

Exposure to HR processes such as recruiting, payroll, benefits, or HR operations

Strong analytical mindset and troubleshooting ability

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams

Strong attention to detail and communication skills


Preferred

Exposure to HRIS configuration or backend system support

Experience working in HR operations or HR systems administration

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field

Interest in developing expertise in Workday or enterprise HR platforms
