Title: Solutions Architect

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in supply chain (WMS), infrastructure (cloud/network/switches), or marketing technologies. The ideal candidate will provide strategic and technical leadership to optimize system utilization, integrate enterprise platforms, and support application consolidation initiatives. This role requires a strong background in retail operations, architecture frameworks, and tradeoff analysis to bridge business needs with technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of enterprise applications (supply chain, infrastructure, or marketing), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide expert recommendations and design scalable, cost-effective solutions across retail systems.
- Conduct fit-gap and tradeoff analyses to guide technology decisions that balance cost, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to design solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support long-term strategy.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in retail/eCommerce architecture, advising on ways to improve customer experience, supply chain execution, and infrastructure reliability.
- Model solutions from conceptual through physical perspectives, creating architecture artifacts such as data flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, and integration blueprints.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure architecture aligns with business and technical requirements.
- Apply best practices and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Support application consolidation and process enhancements across multiple technology domains.
- Stay current on emerging trends in cloud, infrastructure, supply chain, and marketing technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT management, solution architecture, or enterprise system design.
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following domains:
- Supply Chain/WMS (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS)
- Infrastructure/Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, network switches/security)
- Marketing/Customer Data & Engagement (CRM, automation platforms, analytics tools)
- Extensive experience in retail/eCommerce or large enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in system integration, application consolidation, and enterprise data flows.
- Solid understanding of data integration patterns, microservices, SOA, and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of IT architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovation.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with both technical teams and business leaders.
- Familiarity with compliance and data privacy regulations is a plus.
