Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Pittsburgh, PA – Onsite
Duration: Full-Time
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 *Salary is determined based on various factors including experience, education, and certification.

Summary
We’re partnering with a global manufacturing leader seeking a driven Financial Analyst to join their Pittsburgh-based team. This is an onsite role supporting the Business Unit’s finance operations, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. Ideal for someone early in their career (2–4 years’ experience) who’s eager to grow into future leadership roles, this position offers visibility across plant operations, cost analysis, and standard costing, a hands-on opportunity to make an impact within a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Support preparation and review of financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze cost structures, material variances, and standard cost data to support operational performance.
- Partner with Shared Services and Plant Controllers on balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
- Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls (SOX 404).
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
- Manage ad hoc reporting and special projects to drive process improvement.
- Track scrap pickups and invoicing of scrap bill of ladings; assist with credit memo postings and A/R re-aging.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Financial or Cost Analyst in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting (standard costing experience preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ownership mindset with eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Hyperion, or QAD).
- Experience in aerospace or other industrial manufacturing settings.
- Exposure to SOX compliance.
