Title: Junior Financial Analyst

Location: LaPorte, IN (Onsite)

Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 + Bonus

Work Requirements: US Citizen, Green Card Holders, or Authorized to Work in the US.

Summary

We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced manufacturing plant in LaPorte, IN. This role is ideal for someone with 1+ year of experience (including internships) in accounting, finance, or cost accounting, especially within manufacturing or industrial environments. This is a highly visible role within the plant. You will partner directly with operations leadership, support month-end close, analyze cost data, and help drive financial performance. We are looking for someone confident, curious, and willing to ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close and plant-level financial reporting
• Support cost accounting and inventory analysis
• Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead)
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Track key plant performance metrics (productivity, scrap, inventory turns)
• Partner with operations to explain financial results
• Assist with internal controls and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ year of experience (internships count)
• Exposure to cost accounting or manufacturing finance preferred
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
• Comfortable working onsite in a plant environment
• Confident communicator who asks questions and seeks clarity
• Not afraid to speak up in meetings
